Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor is a fantasy action-comedy anime set at the prestigious Alzano Imperial Magic Academy, where a young noblewoman named Sistine Fibel and her best friend Lumia Tingel study to unlock the mysteries of the magical world. Their lives take an infuriating turn when their beloved teacher is replaced by Glenn Radars, a lazy, unmotivated, and seemingly incompetent substitute who would rather sleep or play cards than teach actual magic. However, when the academy is violently attacked by a ruthless terrorist group known as the Researchers of Divine Wisdom, Glenn is forced to reveal his true colors as a highly skilled, deadly former military assassin.
